3D analogue extension for iPhone

Watching 3D images on screens of all sizes... Is this the technology of the future or simply just a short term craze? The question arises at a time when TVs compatible with this technology are struggling to generate much interest amongst consumers... Requiring no special glasses, Nintendo's 3DS console, which should be available next spring, may achieve more convincing success.

As if to highlight the point that screens projecting 3 dimensional images are nothing more than a gimmick, the artist Jitsuro Mase has created the "i3DG", a perfectly useless extension but very well thought out, so that the iPhone can project an additional dimension. Made up of 3 angled mirrors, this ingenious little analogue device has at least some undeniable charm aesthetically... And it works without the glasses!
